A triple deoxidised copper-coated rod, Tigrod 12.62, is designed for GTAW of mild and fine-grained structural and pressure vessel steels, and shipbuilding steels. This rod is known for consistently producing high-quality welds in semi-killed and rimmed steel and steel of various carbon levels. Its added deoxidants, Al-Ti-Zr, allow it to be used for welding steels with a rusty or dirty surface without compromising weld quality.
