We mentioned earlier in the month that RentArc was having an incredible August regarding numbers of hire purchases leaving the depot.
Damian Bryant of RentArc said, "We're really pleased about the numbers, especially as it's 'out of season' for many of our key clients who are in the ship repair industry. You see, most ships do the bulk of their work between early spring and late autumn, and tend to get their repairs done when the weather isn't so good. So despite the time of year, many of these clients have kept busy during the lean time."
Some of our rental fleet was used in the construction of Red Jet 7 on the Isle of Wight! And it's not just the ship repair industry we hire out to, although being based near Southampton and Portsmouth Docks puts us right on the pulse of that! In fact, RentArc's clients operate in a broad range of other industries including oil and gas, power generation (power plants tend to have their shutdown periods during the summer months), process pipework, rail infrastructure, not to mention general fabricators. Another range of customers we're very pleased to support include bespoke luxury kitchen and wine cellar installation companies in Central London, and we also have machines way down in the West Country, South Wales, Kent and East Anglia. All in all, we're very pleased to report that most of our clients seem very busy right now!
