Trainee Warehouse Assistant
Location: Portchester
Contract: Full time with three month probationary period

Salary: In accordance with National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage
Job description:
- Warehouse Trainee to become a team member required for our busy stores and despatch area.
- Main duties include assisting the Warehouse / Logistics team with picking and packing goods,
- Receiving, checking & booking goods inwards,
- Keeping warehouse & vehicles clean and tidy, including outside areas,
- Checking for damaged stock, reporting any damage to manager,
- Completing any errands the manager may require,
- Assisting other department colleagues if necessary.
- This role includes working closely with other stores personnel and drivers, calling for a positive and encouraging manner to be part of the team complying with all regulatory requirements, e.g. Health & Safety, security and product safety.
- Clothing and safety boots supplied.
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8.00am to 5.30pm, 30 minutes paid lunch
What we're looking for:
- IT literate.
- A team player.
- Good numeracy and literacy levels.
- The role will be fast-paced and challenging therefore you must have an adaptable and flexible attitude and approach, be prepared to work alongside your team and be driven to achieve a high level of service and cleanliness.
