Health and Safety Executive Update

Did you receive the HSE e-bulletin on metal fabricators?
Last month, the Health and Safety Executive wrote to fabricated metal businesses across Great Britain to check the risks of welding fumes and metalworking fluids are being managed.

If your business receives a letter, you should respond as soon as possible and by 24th March at the latest. Inspectors will be visiting fabricated metal businesses up and down the country between May and September this year to ensure duty holders are aware of the risks, plan their work accordingly and have the adequate control measures in place to protect their employees’ health.
