Meet the Team: James Edwards, Service Manager

Rapid’s Service Manager, James Edwards, has been with Rapid most of his working life having started with us aged 17. Sixteen years later, James has worked his way up from Trainee Service Engineer to his current role as Service Manager. As well as his ‘hands on’ role in servicing, maintenance and validations, James is also responsible for ensuring the Service Department teams’ training is up to date and current.

James can be shy (he didn’t want his photo taken but we managed to persuade him into giving us a little action shot!). Also, a little known fact about James is his absolute fear of spiders! (After sixteen years with Rapid, James, you should know never to disclose things like that!)

James says, “although my job is pretty full on, I do enjoy the challenges our customers send to us. I work with a great bunch of people and we support each other, because that’s the ‘Rapid Way’”.
